Has any colleges got dibs on steve yet? wouldn’t be surprised if he already has one ready to take him in
I am trying to convince him to go!Shawn
part 2 of my actual postingA bit before the backswing is finished the body “falls” a little aside bracing the spine-legs bow while the backswing is finished. The potential energy of the now braced bow plus the momentum of the body set free, the shoulder-arm string snapping back shooting the hands and club arrow which take with them the ball.Shawn, what do you think about this golf swing model, inspired by this pefect swing you gave Steve Lee?Dirk, Germany
Very nice description Dirk!I can see it…:) It is the One Leg Drill, Downswing Weightshift, Leverage power, and Hogan Power drill all more; all in one! Thank you for posting! Shawn
Shawn! You emphasize a â??Braced Tilt” addressing the ball. Here what your Steve Lee video is showing me:The process is comparable with “bow and arrow”. The spine and legs being the bow, the arms and shoulders the string, hands and club being the arrow. At addressing the ball the bow is tiltet but it is not braced.to be continued next posting, Dirk, Germany
Shawn, it seems like Steve’s hip turn in the backswing is not as pronounced as you usually advocate (i.e. like in the “Hogan’s Power Move” or “One Leg Swing” videos). If so, is there a reason why you trained Steve to use less hip turn (body type, flexibility, etc)?
one day he’ll make it to PGA.
good swing Steve your stance is just a little bit to open unless you were trying to fade the ball.
Kingqalexing – I take lessons from Shawn Clement and I’m located in MN. It’s been a month and I would say that it’s well worth the money and not as expensive as you might think. Talk to Shaw directly and he can put a personal program.
What we do is ib between Stack and Tilt and Regular Shift; we advocate a very centered backswing with the “BUTT” turning towards the target instead of the upper body tilting towards the target; like Jack Nicklaus in his prime! I will try to get Steve into more videos though, great idea! Shawn
